Adding smtp debug #20

Whilst setting this up on my development machine I had to edit your code to help me debug why my SMTP was failing. I thought it would be nice to add this in as an option. In doing so I also have made a small function that throws an Exception if the environment isDev

I suggest I also change the README to reference this to help other people debug their mailers?
