Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Click Eclipse button to "Create a PhoneGap for Android Project"
2.Choose PhoneGap, Sencha locations. Next.
2.Choose "Create project from existing source", and choose the root location of
the GMapsDemo project. Next.
3.App name and package name are shown.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
1.java.lang.nullpointerexception
2.The created project doesn't have anything under assets folder.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version of GMapsDemo and latest version of AppLaud, and latest version
of PhoneGap

Please provide any additional information below.

GMapsDemo works with a jQuery Mobile plugin for Google maps. jQuery Mobile and
Sencha are not compatible. You should not choose a Sencha location.

I deselected Sencha Touch from the wizard option. I even tried deselecting
jQuery Mobile, seeing that the demo project has already included that. No
matter what options I select, I still get NullPointerException, and the the
created project doesn't have anything under assets folder.

Are you able to successfully create the example project (if you don't select
"Create project from existing source")?

What Eclipse plug-in versions do you have installed - What shows up from
Eclipse -> About Eclipse -> Installation Details

What is your host operating system?

Marking invalid for now. We can reopen with sufficient data to reproduce.

I'm getting this issue - having installed all required plugins today; meaning
they are all the latest version.

When trying to open a demo, or even creating a new project, I get the
NullPointerException and the assets folder is empty in the project. It's not
really a Medium Defect as this completely breaks the point of having AppLaud
installed IMO; if I can't create a project there's not a lot I can really do..!

So to re-iterate, this isn't limited to GMapsDemo; at least not in my case. It
occurs with every project I've tried to create; blank, example, w/jQuery
Mobile, w/o jQuery Mobile.

Thanks for reporting. There is a problem with the ADT 20.0.0 release. I
created
