In the interest of increasing the productivity of my train commute I installed an RSS reader on my phone so I can find time to read the blog posts that are posted on marklogic.com and developer.marklogic.com. After installing the RSS reader I noticed that the blog posts on marklogic.com were available in their entirety on my phone. In contrast, the blog posts from developer.marklogic.com came to my phone with the title and a brief description but the full text was only available through a link to the dmc website. My RSS reader software indicated that this means that the RSS feed is set up to be a partial feed. Is this the case? If so, is there a reason we don't want to make the full RSS feed available? I ask only because the blog posts don't render particularly well when I have to link to the web site and because it would be helpful to have offline access to the content for times when I don't have an internet connection.
