Flatpack is convenient. My understanding - it pulls all dependency libraries into it from my machine how they are at the moment of packaging. I do not know if they will be updated on user's machine when new versions of the libs will appear. I would not want a user stuck with old libs in flatpack. This potentially may cause security issues, or just bugs in the libs will not be fixed. Correct me if I am wrong.
