Currently reading cards should be translated but what about given cards?

Mika and I talked of how we do this entire project. She said for now we show the english version of the current Japanese one so that people know what this game is like. Mika was happy also to write a "How to play WordPress Karuta" document :)

Eventually, there should be different types, combinations and versions of cards. So the script will be something which allows users to ...

• update cards informations in csv, xls or google spreadsheet
• if the scripts get run, some one can easily go to the translation process
• after translation, designer can easily pick the contents and apply to the design

I don't know very well about the GlotPress structure, so can you give me a starting point structure of the process?

I rather don't update card information with an external format due the fact that we do need to add translatable function around text and it will be guessing. You can check the current code and see how that looks.

When we use the WordPress functions to mark translatable text then GlotPress will pick it up directly. The only thing we need to do now is fix the default card deck to have all Japanese to English. We should still keep the original text so I could manually (faster then creating a script) copy/paste it.

When all strings are English between the __() function calls then I will enable this project on http://wp-translate.org/projects/games/karuta

I think all the answer cards are already in English and would not need translating today. That said, I know the future would be to translate the repo so I don't know if we'd eventually need to. We'll always have wp_enqueue_script() as a function, so it's sort of English Default :/ I think we're okay not to translate the answer.

I will have an translator to work on the /card-decks/default.php. Maybe Shoko Matsuo, who had the leadership on the Japanse 2014 one and was at Karaoke too, wants to get involved.

Japanese text will be saved some where and the translator can manually do that.

I translated reading cards and sent pull request. I thought that we need to check Japanese and English side by side before editing /card-decks/default.php. So I edited 2014.csv in this way. Is that all right?

I had to make some changes of the script from ShinichiNishikawa. Everything should be fine now. Loading GlotPress with all current strings :)

I did imported Japanese now too. I will check if everything is still correctly done. I do have to say that some English sentences are long.
