could not receive a media list as there was no domains that worked #5

I get this message when trying to run this addon, when trying to receiev any of the categories. This is on Kodi 17.6 on a enigma2 based device. (zgemma h9)

Do not know if this addon is working on Enigma2, but it should get media list, did you check if you have latest version installed?

Thanks for your reply. I got it from markop159 repository -1.10 , popcorntime addon version 1.7.3

I think it is a network issue. I just installed kodi 18.4 on my android phone for testing, and also the popkorntime addon 1.7.3 At first I got the exact same error message on android. After some testing I found that it will only work if I connect to my VPN server first. Then I will get the listings working, and I can also play videos.

I must add that the android version of popcorntime on my phone does work without the VPN service running.

I do have set up OpenVPN on my enigma2 device, so I may have to experiment a bit more with it. The problem with openvpn is that I must choose a specific config file (a specific server), and also I must choose between TCP (port 443) or UDP (1194) when choosing my server. I did have a UDP setup in use last time I tested, as I understand that this is the one for P2P.
