What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Any map

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
1. It would be great if the app could record and draw a track
2. A page could show the statistics of the track (length, time, average speed, 
moving time, moving speed, etc)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.1.14
Android 2.3.3 HTC Desire

There are plenty of excellent GPS track recording apps in Google Play Store. At this point there are no plans on adding tracking feature to Custom Maps.

Just use Maprika, it has the custom maps feature and the GPS tracking feature
