Audio coming out as static #35

Hey there, I've got an aaf file that the audio inside avid is completely fine. But when extracting the audio out to file, it comes out as static. I have racked my brains, but do not know why it is happening as other aaf files are fine. We are using version 8.6.5 of avid if that's any help. I can't send over the file unfortunately. Thanks

Sorry, but I'm not sure if I can really help without a sample file, or a code sample of what your doing that isn't working. Perhaps you have the wrong sample format setting in whatever tool your using to playback your audio.

The audio in the header, avid and third party applications all match up. It's worked for all other audio so far
