'Recognize vertical 1D barcodes' option does not work #349

When I enable this option, I can still only recognize horizontal one-dimensional codes

Sorry, I cannot reproduce this 😬

What device are you using? Do you have barcode sample that doesn't work?

My device is Realme GT Neo2.

Are you sure "Recognize vertical 1D barcodes" is enabled in the settings?

Can confirm that the above sample is not recognized for me either, unless I tilt the camera sideways. Using latest version off F-Droid, with the above setting enabled.
