[Feature Request] Columns customization #10

Open RezurrectBodg opened 3 years ago

App icons and place left for app title may be too small or too large depending on display size.

The settings page could be accesible via pinch on main screen or an item in app drawer.

Also there could be a credits page😄

A settings page is on the list, as well as customizing the number of columns 😄

I just started with what worked for me, but there need to be settings, of course.

Reviving this issue since it's been a while! I would also appreciate the ability to add or remove columns. Specifically, to remove one :)

I also support the addition of any customisation options, the more the merrier, but @markusfisch only has so much time/energy. I think this is why these haven't been implemented yet.

  • no of rows

I don't understand how this is supposed to work... the number of rows depends on the number of (not hidden) apps. Did you mean adjusting the spacing between rows so that more can fit on screen at once? I agree that this would be useful (though it is a lower priority for me, personally).

Just in case anyone is looking for these settings:

  • bg alpha

Settings > Home > Darken Background - Enables or disables a semi-opaque black overlay when the pie/app drawer is visible.

  • disable font

Settings > App Drawer > Show App Names - Set to Always, While Searching, and Never to adjust if labels appear under app icons.
