I came across a post in r/unixporn.. I know this is not android but is it possible to create sub pie menu like the first seconds of that video. It would be great feature to pie Launcher. Thanks in Advance

Hi, yes, this would be possible, but I don't think it would work on the small screen of a smartphone. You'd just run out of space 😉

Also, while this sure looks cool in the video, and makes me want to play with it, I think nested sub menus are actually more cumbersome to work with than tap and type (the first letters of the app you want to start) 😬 For me, the great advantage of a pie menu is that you can use it intuitively, without thinking or reading, just with muscle memory. But this advantage may fade quickly with nested sub menus when you don't use them all that often, which is probably the case for apps you would put in a sub menu 😉

This was also discussed before in https://github.com/markusfisch/PieLauncher/issues/9

This is some random concept, I am no android app programmer so I don't know if this is impossible... Anyways its works this. The red menu opens first and then I drag to one circle and the blue menu appears. The red menu disappears and the blue menu calculates the edge of screen and displays the items accordingly and it need not be the normal number of items. The red and blue colors are used for visualising Hope this makes sense... And btw your launcher is still amazing, thanks for the this :) Drawing sketchpad

I don't think this would be much helpful. As you said, the small screens wouldn't support this feature very well.
8 apps is already a good enough number if you ask me.
Also, the submenus break the muscle memory. The current implementation, is golden & enough 👌
