@MaxAldejohann Looking into this issue raised a question:
Let's assume we have isolate 2022-004
in our database. Then later a new entry is created with 2022-008
, setting the follow-up to 2022-004
. If later yet another entry arrives, e.g. 2022-016
would this then be marked as follow-up to 008
or to 004
. Or should this be decided by the user?
@MaxAldejohann / @JuliaWall this enhancement is now available on staging system. Please take a look/test there đ§Ș and let me know if it's ready for production.
@markusrt nicely done! Just 2 comments: i would seperate the follow up isolates in a new working sheet when it comes to exportation of the excel list, sothat they are clearly apart. I would ammend "Labornummer VorgÀnger" to "SN-Labornummer VorgÀnger" to avoid confusion with "Labornummer Einsender" :-)
Thanks for the feedback. Splitting to different sheets makes sense. I will change it accordingly.
@MaxAldejohann: I just did some housekeeping on our issues and found this still being open. Follow-ups are available since the April release, however old data is not yet sanitized. We discussed that you do the following:
Identify follow-up cases in current production data
Is this actually possible. If yes, you may send me the follow-up sentinel pairs so I can update the database accordingly.
ok. my job. will do so asap. but some data is still lacking.
Usually when a patient is treated due to an infection several isolates are taken (i.e. every day for 5-6 days). For Sentinel Network only the first one is relevant as they would all yield the same result.
However sometimes a patient returns after more then 14 days. In these cases an new entry should be added to the database but it should be possible to mark it as follow-up in case it is still the same infection.
