There should be more teacher-focused documentation at https://moodle.org/plugins/view/local_autogroup so it is clearer how to use the plugin. I admit I had to check the source code first to realize there is a new node added to the course administration block. A screenshot of that navigation and another screenshot of how the settings form looks like would help. Also, more detailed description of how the code actually works (i.e. when the groups are created/updated) could help teachers to understand the functionality.
