Some folks will be out for icassp next week -- what should we talk about in their absence?

@hohsiangwu did you want to start up on speech synthesis? Or anyone else have ideas?

So for my very basic understanding of generative models, there are mainly three line of models which are 1. Autoregressive (WaveNet) 2. VAE 3. GAN.

I am thinking maybe it is worth going through the basic concept of these three. And we can dive a little bit deeper of the Tacotron 2 paper?

I will send out the main paper to read the Tacotron 2 ones with the three of the above as background knowledge, and prepare to talk a little bit about the three different types to start with of next meeting. How does it sound?

Please correct me if I misunderstand or misclassify anything of the problem space. :bow:
