No mouse pointer control in new build #13

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Switching to mouse pointer control mode does not control mouse, only 
panning works.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
the latest, windows vista.

Please provide any additional information below.

I'm in the same boat, remote pc is running winxp service pack3

I changed to this server http://www.realvnc.com/products/free/4.1/winvnc.html
and all is fine. Is was TIGHvnc that seemed to be having issues.

Also seeing this issue. Server is Ubuntu 8.04. Panning great, no clicking, 
mouse.

UPDATE: I managed to see the cursor once, and move a little. No clicking, or 
smooth
movement.
