I think we may need to add a hint that in case the VM runs slowly on some platforms, the users are advised to check the settings of their platform and their Virtualization software. For example, when running VirtualBox, the BIOS Virtualization setting will likely needed to be enabled, and the 3D acceleration option should be enabled in the display properties in the virtual box setting for a smooth rendering.
Also, the OS version we use for the VM should be mentioned. The readers should know we are using Ubuntu 64 bit for example before they start to install their stuff, as this may not run on 32-bit machines (but not completely sure about this).
