Feature requests: Global shortcut to open Marta #837

Hi there! I just find out about this great app with a bunch of customization potential. One this which is really bothering me is that since this app doesn't have, or at least I didn't find a GLOBAL shortcut to open Marta, so I need to use automator to set up a script to open this and then bind this with a shortcut manually. But this doesn't work in some cases if the app I currently focus on has a key collision. So I think this feature will be really really nice to have for a great file manager.

Another feature I really missed is the ability to see the hierarchy of folder structures like in default Finder, really miss this feature also though.

Keyboard Maestro will set you free and you won't have to rely on devs for requests like this.

+1 from me on this as well! Being able to twirl open a folder to see contents is useful when you need to keep higher level focus to grab a file buried beneath.

skhd is another very lightweight alternative. Simply add a line like the following in your .skhd config file:

cmd + ctrl + alt + shift - e : open -a "Marta"

☝🏼 this line binds "cmd + ctrl + alt + shift + e" to open marta in skhd
