Hi there
In terms of 1...I am not sure what you are referring to...wingetui.exe is not showing under Startup Apps, and I cannot find a way to get it to appear therein. In terms of 2...yes. Please see below:

So I am not sure what I am missing in terms of 1.
Many thanks for your patience in this matter.

How did you install WingetUI?
Hi Marti
Thanks for the response.
I used the installer downloaded from Github, in this case v2.2.0 (278.71Mb) which I installed on 19 January.
I also have WingetUI Widgets (Preview - v0.3.0.0) installed from the Microsoft Store on 25 January.
Hope that helps?
Thanks, Solly

Try to reinstall WingetUI from GitHub. WingetUI should then show on the startup apps
Thanks, Marti
I will uninstall completely and then reinstall from scratch. Will advise back as to whether that resolves the issue or not.

Hi Marti
I have just done a complete uninstall & then reinstall and all seems well. So thank you.
One question if I may? Just wondering if I managed to inadvertently do a 'portable' installation last time...just noticed the option. Could that have been the cause of my issue?
