Looking forward to a fix for this as Scoop is my primary source.
Work-around: restarting WingetUI causes the scoop buckets to be updated, too.
Before restarting WingetUI:
After restarting WingetUI:
Could this maybe get the important label because as far as i can tell this makes scoop useless in WingetUI? I never see any updates unless i run scoop update
on a command line.
Same here. Also Scoop packages are not found at all in the search.
I really hope this will be included in the UniGetUI 3.1.0 update 🙏
in 3.1.0 alpha 1 it is the same behaviour - scoop update
must be run outside UnigetUI. The refresh button (next to Add source) seems to do only a scoop bucket list
, not also an update
I am aware, Alpha 1 is not expected to fix bugs yet
Thanks a lot @marticliment!
Please confirm these before moving forward
Describe your issue
WingetUI doesn't update scoop buckets so if there is a new update for a scoop app it doesn't show in WingetUI but if you manually update the buckets through windows command prompt (scoop update) it shows the available apps for update in WingetUI.
