[BUG] unigetUI -> choco installs some single file exe to choco bin folder, they are not in StartMenu , not Searchable in the Startmenu #2878

windows 11 pro [Version 10.0.22621.2506]

Describe your issue

choco installs, some packages (sigle file exe) to choco > bin folder., (❌) they are not searchable in the by startmenu

expected: install those annoying pack to into choco > Lib" folder. with respective folder names

i dont understand what u mean??

but, autoruns.exe or procexp.exe works i locate them , double click on them.

if you install procexp via choco.exe (choco install procexp) do they still get installed on the bin folder

yes. same . they still get installed to choco > bin folder

the pain point is "they are not searchable in the start menu ".

instestingly , at 13 10 2024 . i see that UnigetUI installed to chocolatey > lib" folder . at the right folder??

i got an UnigetUI update . maybe update caused this?

interestingly same files are here in respective folders

No, if you are able to recreate the issue with choco install dllexp then this is not UniGetUI's fault. It is an issue with either the chocolatey package manager and/or the package maintainers
