Minimize to tray #6

Hi

First of a great thank you for the effort you have put it. Been threatening to try my hand at building something like this for a couple of months and then I came across this. It is literally the full package after the last update v0.6.

From the front end is there a way to minimize to the tray? And can I start it up minimized, through maybe passing a parameter like --minimize?

PS please let us know where we can donate

Thanks, good to hear people are using it! :) Yes I did think of that, ill put start minimized on the todo list. But i dont understand what you mean with minimize it from the frontend ?

Hi,

Thought these might be todo list items but for now I'm just happy to have the current solution.

What I want to achieve is to be able to start the application and have it running in the tray indefinitely.

Currently when the application starts it starts in both the task manager/panel and the tray, which is great but there doesn't seem to be a way to minimize it to the tray only, i.e. have no icon in the task manager/panel.

On side note to the above: with KDE I was able to simulate this behavior using window settings but realized that while the tray Icon allows for the application to be minimized but you can't restore it from tray, i.e. there is no option to open the application in the tray icon.

Thanks again
