What menus are most important?? #780

Aaron asked me to ask you this:

what menus are needed for main lobby? we only have a limited number of rooms, what do you want the most?

stuff already decided on

crates inventory singleplayer multiplayer

it would be a image that you click on and it'll open the menu or when you touch it it will open inventory

yall. its supposed to be like stuff on the floor that represents the room, and then you enter the room and a menu appears. not a button.

bro what? even if I did, it still wouldn't work, bcuz that's not what this is!! I'm not redoing the whole idea cuz u made 1 image.

ye just make a map that has areas u enter above ur spawn, and things like shooting range and stuff at the bottom

this works fine, and doesn't look bad. that would look really awkward and lazy, bcuz it would be

theres not much of a point to the main lobby if everything is 2 steps away. this is a thing we want people to be in for a bit, not press shift and instantly leave. the way I have made mine, it lets you still leave quickly using gripple, but not just leaving in the same frame u arrive. at that point, why even have it?

ykeybindis bokn so cant talk but i ho ait maybe it's fixed?

Bradley's map is better because you can get to inventory and gamemodes in like 2 seconds, making it easier for fast gameplay. People don't want to spend forever navigating the lobby unless they choose to.

like deep rock, one major pro that everyone talks about in deep rock is how expertly crafted the lobby is. it's packed full of stuff so no space is wasted but it doesn't feel cluttered either. Also everything that you would need takes a maximum of 5 seconds to get to with the average time being less than that.
