Site design - images for home page #5

Open pszpak opened 1 year ago

I in the process of designing/augmenting Medieval Anglo-Jewish Women's site design.

Are there any images that would like to see me use on the home page? Kind of like the cover a book or movie poster. It could be a larger version of the script on the banner on the existing site on Jenkins, or something else that you've come across in your research.

When/if we get an image for the home page it will be used as the core for other design materials, like a poster in the office, etc.

Thanks, Pat. I'm working from home again today (sick kid), but I'm just at my home desk working on MAJW — so we can go back and forth on this or Zoom if you'd prefer (whatever's needed). Just FYI. I'm attaching here a few images I had given Martin at some point for use on the website: these are all what the records look (not the text but the objects), and I thought they might be cool? (The other possibilities are to make special use of the images for Mirabel of Gloucester and Licoricia of Winchester, already in their "brief bios" -- those give us some faces.) Hi again, Pat. I also have much better images of text related to these women (better than what is now in the banner on the website). Here are a few of those, in case they're useful:

Thanks! These are great.

Here are a couple more women's names, @pszpak. I can grab clear images of Mirabel and Licoricia's names when I'm on my home computer (or when the Henry III Fine Rolls Project site is open again) -- so hopefully more soon.
