doi links support #2

How about adding in support for doi linking and html linking so that if an article has a doi link you can use a bibtex doi field and http://doi.dx.org/ to resolve the url to the article/data/etc. and then use the bibtex url field to point to another page or location?

Also, instead of using images as your link, is it possible to directly reference the font-awesome and academicon icons? Academicons has a doi icon, while font-awesome has icons for pdf, globe (url) and more.

I believe the correct URL is https://dx.doi.org/ not https://doi.dx.org/. I'm working on a solution for this and will submit a pull request shortly.

Correct. I definitely made a typo in my original post.
