Toggle open/close of FX chain window... #3

Clicking in track area outside of any FX, that is in the "empty slot", opens FX Chain window. Clicking again, should close it. How to?

Note that Ctrl+left click FX in the track draw area works as expected.

Reaper does toggle open/close that window when the FX chain button is clicked, but nor when the FX enable button is. (Side note: why does that window at all open when the FX enable button is clicked on a track with empty FX chain?) It seems that the problem is that no FX is selected in the chain, so to try:

  1. For non-empty FX chain: select the first FX before closing
  2. For empty FX chains, add ReaEQ (by name), then close and after remove the newly added FX.

For empty FX chain adding ReaEQ before open/close of the FX chain window, and then removing it after close/open does indeed work!
