Image in popup #41

Hi, i have installed the facbook module on my Joomla site. That was quit easy. Thanks for that. I do have a question. If i click on the facebook button. A popup rises. The image show in that popup is a random picture from my site (or the first found). But i would like to use my logo. How can i change that?

Hello Jan,

I have thought to build a option for every articles and menus to choose picture and title. This is also called "Open Graph", which is supported by my module under "Options". Just find images and choose one.

Hi, yes i thought this should work like you say. But it does not. i have added a picture with the settings. The App id is the one i just created.

I just send a request to crawl your page again / used their debugger.

Please edit "type" to website.

Hi, i changes it to website. And then send the request to crawl also. Then there is the erro message: Object at URL 'http://www.broos.org' of type 'website' is invalid because the given value '194276517387159' for property 'fb:admins' could not be parsed as type 'fbid'.

Just working on a new version of the module. This is fixed in the next version.

where can i see that you liked the the site ? Should i not see on my facebook page that you like ?

You have set the module to like your website. If you want to like your page, you should enter the URL to the page at facebook.

i changed the url in the basic parameters to : https://www.facebook.com/jan.broos.3 But now it does not work anymore. now the popup flashes. It only there for 1 second and disapears.

Hi Martin, i changed the app id to to my facebook user id which is a completly different number. No the rrror in facebook is gone. Use this link to get your admin id (or user id) : http://developers.facebook.com/tools/explorer/
