Step Chart Design #30

stairs are nice but the problem to my eye, at least in day period, is that the center of the horizontal line is not at the middle of the day. I mean that the day starts where the line makes a step and runs until the next day where the next step is. Flot determined the x-axis labeling from the timestamp and I think that this timestamp is every day 0:00 at night, so flot does everything right but the that looks a bit confusing. Especially together with the crosshair line because the crosshair jumps do not match the edges in the chart. The solution my be to adjust the timestamps to be noon. Adding 12 hours is all that needs to be done, could that be?

could try changing the bar alignment from "center" to "left"
