SteamVR crashes Gnome if tray icons reloaded is enabled #123

Describe the bug When launching SteamVR, gnome crashes (shows the unrecoverable error screen) if tray icons reloaded is enabled. Otherwise there are no issues.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

Distro: Arch Linux
GNOME Shell: 44.2
Extension version: 27
Display server: X11

I read the compatibility note: [✓]

I can confirm same issue launching SteamVR with this extension enabled.

Distro: NixOS 23.11 (also occurred on 23.05)
GNOME Shell: 44.4
Extension version: 27
Display server: X11

Sadly this is broken at GNOME API level or in SteamVR, can't even blacklist that app :roll_eyes:
