[FR]: Cleanup Database on Exit #665

Brief description of the feature request

It would be great if you could add a "Cleanup Database on Exit" option.

Also, adding a "Remove all read articles older than XX days" option would really help keep the feeds clean and reduce the database size.

HI @qcybb.

Yes, there is a chance to have this added. Thing is, this is a FOSS project and anyone can contribute, even you.

I develop RSS Guard in my free time and lately my free time is greatly greatly limited by my other activites which include: family with 3 little kids, demanding wife, garden/house I must take care about, guitar I start to learn etc.

That's why I primarily fix bugs and polish existing features of RSS Guard instead of adding half-baked new ones.

@martinrotter We understand the pressures on you, and we fully appreciate this app, developed and curated as you say in your free time.

Yet: if it's a half-baked idea, it's certainly still one I would appreciate having available!
