Unable to save hosts file Windows 8.1 (Vista and up) #9

Hi, I'm unable to save changes to my hosts file in Windows 8.1 and probably Vista and up.

What's happening is Sublime Text is opened as a user, not an Administrator. I'd need to open another instance of it as Admin to edit the hosts file. Is it possible to have it open a new instance as Administrator when I go to edit it so I'm able to save?

Have you discovered Superlime? (I'm sorry this suggestion comes so late.)

That looks awesome thanks! I'm still a Sublime Text user so having a solution is great!

Sadly, while it asks to save as administrator, looks like it doesn't actually do it :/. I'll check that library and see what I can do to make it work.
