v13 is also having this issue
Is there any update to the issue? I am having the same problem with BC14. Downgrading the Object-Designer is no option because you are not getting the complete source code.
Still getting this error - any solution or work around for this?
Thank you and regards
Rasmus
My only solution / workaround at this time Is to have an instance of VS Code running version 0.1.4 of AL Object Designer as well as running the matching version of the AL Language that comes with your server. I’m on 13 so I use 2.1.10663

I can see the object list, but if I try to preview an object from AL Object Designer, I always get the issue: Object Objectname: couldn't find definition
Download of symbols works without error. AL Object Designer Cash was deleted before.
I tried it with docker image mcr.microsoft.com/businesscentral/onprem:14.10.40471.0-de and mcr.microsoft.com/businesscentral/onprem:14.9.39327.0-de.
If I downgrade to version 0.1.4 of your extension, AL Object Designer shows the content of the object, but not well formatted
There are no issues with business central 15.
