I see, this is caused by the new added Deepin 2015 packages in [community]. Just wait a while, we will fix it(or fix most of them) today ;)
Should we be updating from the [community] repo now instead of [home_metakcahura_arch-deepin_Arch_Extra]? I lose power, sound, network, and mounted disks dock applets when updating to the latest in [home_metakcahura_arch-deepin_Arch_Extra].
Well, Deepin 2015 packages in [community] still in alpha stage now, if you want have a try, run the following commands(anything missing please let me know):
pacman -R dde-dock-applets
pacman -Syuu
And for the [home_metakcahura_arch-deepin_Arch_Extra] repo, we have not update it amost a month, and currently not plan to fix your problem...
Thank you for the info, looks like some of the install info here isn't up to date (I'm new here). I updated using [community] repo and all is working well. My network widget is still missing from the dock, but maybe that's by design. I don't miss it anyway, was truly only concerned with the sound and battery widgets.
Thanks for the hard work being completed by all here!
Is the whole deepin repo completly migrated to [community]?
Yes, all the latest Deepin 2015 packages exists in [community] now. For the difference from OBS:arch-deepin(we call it 2014), see this comment:
https://github.com/fasheng/arch-deepin/issues/99#issuecomment-157633737
@fasheng could you please comment on deepin-nautilus-properties ? It was a Deepin-2014 pkg already, then I read that it was going to be dropped with deepin-file-manager, now it is listed as a new pkg... Is it needed? If so, it is still missing in arch-community. I have built it and added it to manjaro-community but I cannot see any difference when it is installed or not ;)
I have added it as a dependency of deepin-desktop. It is used in any files' right-click menu on desktop.
Thanks for the explanation and for adding. So I can drop the overlay now. ;)
Since today, i am unable to update deepin to the newest version.
This is, what
pacman
outputs: ('existiert im Dateisystem' translates to 'exists in the filesystem')
