[Suggestion] Add horizontal & vertical offset to the programmable block placer #10

Hmm. Personally I don't even really like the current offset, it feels a bit weird and "cheaty", but not having it would likely make printing complex machinery way too painful in some cases.

But the main issue in adding it now would be that there is already so much stuff in the GUI that I can't really fit anything new to it, and also it would break the programming sequence compatibility with existing contraptions. Although that's really only a concern if there is actually anyone out there who has actually used that machine for complex contraptions with reprogramming involved...

Maybe make an advanced version with more functionalities?

I'm closing this as I don't personally like the idea of more magical range/freedom in the placement position. Even the current up to 16 block offset is pretty ridiculous.
