Freecam freezes the player #230

Whenever i press my freecam hotkey, it just freezes me. I can't move my camera or walk like if my mouse and keyboard were disconnected. I can still swap my hotbar slots and change the person view but that's all. Any idea on how to fix it? (I play on singleplayer 1.16.4)

I've only heard this being an issue when some other free cam mod is also installed, but I don't even know the name of that mod.

oh, well, I have indeed the fabric freecam installed, i'm gonna try to uninstall it. thank you a lot!

it works really well! but is there a way to use the optifine zoom while being in freecam?

I don't know... does it not work? Tweakeroo also has it's own zoom tweak, but I think the control isn't as smooth as Optifine's, from what I hear.

no it doesn't. I play with the maximum fov so i use A LOT the optifine zoom. I also tried the zoom tweak but it doesn't work either (even outside of the freecam). Does it have something to do with optifine maybe?

The tweak definitely should work. Note that it has both a toggle option/hotkey and then the actual activation key in Generic Hotkeys.

oh you are right , my bad. I guess I'm going to start using your zoom instead of the optifine zoom then :) thank you so much for the super fast responses ;D
