Incompatibility with Events Calendar /events slug

When I use this plugin along with the Events Calendar Pro plugin, the /events slug goes to the customer area instead of the events page.

When I deactivate the customer area plugin, the events page renders as expected.

Is there some setting for this type of thing or is there an incompatibility?
