The dvorak/svorak keyboard layouts have 9 keys on the bottom row, while the
standard
layouts have 7. That means that there is very little space for the shift- and
delete-
key. I'm not sure where to place these keys.
One solution would be to use the dvorak keyboard, and place shift and delete at
the
top row, å at the second row and ä/æ and ö/ø at the bottom row. Do you
have any
comments on this?
If you have any suggestions for how the layout should be, I would be happy to
implement it.

I think the best solution is to put delete at the top row and shift at the
middle row.

With 11 buttons at the two top rows, including shift and delete, that would
mean that
the shift- and delete-buttons would be the same size as the other buttons, or
that the
buttons would be even smaller than they are now, and very small in comparison
with the
bottom row. Is this okay, and if so, should shift and delete have the same size
as the
other keys, or should the keys be smaller?

Same size as the other keys.

How about putting them in the bottom row with space and enter? special keys
like .com
and / could maybe be made smaller. If not possible I think maggge89's solution
ok.

I'm a Dane, so I'm using the Norwegian variant. While you're at it, would it be
very difficult to add Norwegian Dvorak ("nvorak"?) as well? And, perhaps more
tricky, I would want to use a Danish dictionary with it (see also: issue 61)?
Perhaps it would be best to implement nvorak for Norway, and an identical
layout for Denmark...
BTW, to comment on the latest discussion, it would be just fine with me if all
keys (except maybe the space bar?) were the same size (as on a Palm Treo), as
long as all the character keys (that is, not counting shift, delete, and so on)
are on the expected rows. (Also, sorry about the (many) parentheses... ;-p)
