If this is deemed solar at the moment they remain unaffected. We would like to include them in future.
1: What happens if it is metered export? What are coop paying for exported renewables?
2: When you say its unaffected do you mean they would get the 4.5p/kW export tariff?
3: What do you mean we would like to include them in the future? Can we not include them now?
If it is metered export then it would operate like any other generator. The 'PPA' price would depend on the market at the time and the type of generation passed performance etc. We are trying to work our how to include PV on homes where there is a domestic advanced meter at present. We haven't quite got to the bottom of how to get the data through settlement without installing another meter. Its on the to do list. We would also still need one class C meter (for over 30kW) for import and export - working on this one too.
Okay what I mean is, can a household with solar pv become a club member and get the match price and TOUT? Do you have any club members in Bethesda with PV?
Yes, if its not half hourly metered at the moment their demand can go in to the club and the deemed FITs carry on as normal. If it is halfhourly meter they can continue with a PPA or metered FITS for the moment outside the club if they prefer

Hi Silas,
Mary's comments refer to the FIT export rate. It's worth noting that the FITs themselves (ie. the subsidy that the customer receives for every kWh generated) is set by the Government and the customer gets the same regardless of which electricity supplier they are with. They would be completely unaffected by the switch to Energy Local in terms of how much they receive for this part. They may just need to move to switch their FITs administration to Co-op.
Sorry, just re-read your question and realised it was only about export anyway!
Hi
Sorry we need to distinguish between generation FITs (on all the generation) and export FITS as Holly says. We have had a slight tangle over the order of transfering over so it is best to have your FITs contract and yousupply contract with Coop before moving to PPA.

Hi there,
Someone inquired as to how his current arrangement of solar panels and his feed in tariff would be affected by opting into the Coop Energy arrangement?
