When will people in the Club know what the match price and TOUT are? #17

Spoke with someone who is interested in taking part in our Club project, however they wants to know the exact details of the Co-op TOUT that they'll be switching to before they agree to it. Now, it's my understanding that we won't know this until we actually switch them. Is there any way of predicting what it might be so to give him an idea at least? I'm just wary that some people might be reluctant to take part if we can't tell them the price of the tariff before they switch. If there isn't, what would you suggest should be my reply to him?

Hi

At the point of switching the TOUT will be fixed i.e. when you are asked for further details. Noone is asked to commit without them. Your will be able to enter them on the club page and the email that goes out includes a link to them. The reason for this is that elelctricity prices can go up and down. If the price was fixed earlier than this then participants could lose out. Mary

Hi Mary - how will the TOUT price confirmation work in practice? We will need to have it confirmed so we can add to the Club page immediately before we change the Club Status to Open For Switching. Once we are ready to change the Club status who/how will the TOUT be confirmed?

Let me know when you are ready and we will confirm with Coop - its the first time we have done this - I will raise it at a meeting withCoop on Monday.
