I am waiting to join an Energy Local Club and my current supply contract is running out - what should I do? #37
There are two options - if you switch to Coop's cheapest fixed, they wont charge you a penalty for switching to Energy Local later. Alternatively, as Coop may not be the cheapest if you go for a one year fix, you can actually leave it to 2 months early without a penalty (not many people know this!). You may have to wait a few months before you can switch but you can join the Club a bit late.
