Command syntaxes are too long

Some command such as attendance add attendance mark and attendance delete can be abbreviated or shortened (eg to aa, am, ad) so that it fits the project target user which types fast. Too long command syntaxes could hinder the user from typing fast, especially if there are typos when typing in fastly.

Team's Response

• While it might increase typing speed for users, ad is misleading and could be interpreted as add deadline instead.
• To counter typos, we implemented the user history input so you can alter your previous command. Moreover, we want to make sure that users really want to delete attendance. If we use 2 letters only, it would be easier to make a mistake and delete the attendance list.

Reason for disagreement: - For the first point, I think as long as it is stated and explained clearly in the UG, it should not be a problem

• For second point, user history input does not work if I type in a command for my first time (eg attendacne add) when the previous history is not the same command. If I do a typo, I will need to erase the whole thing and that is time consuming.

Also, it is under the Project Constraints that this app should be suitable for users that prefer typing (see screenshot below).

And to my humble opinion, having short commands could further support users to type faster, avoid typos and save time.
