when first opened, default settings are min/max but signal is red (should be green)
when one side is reset to a value (that should make it always green) and that side's setting changed to a comparison sign (not min/max anymore), still shows red (should be green); this happens for both sides
when the other side is then reset to a value (that should make it always green) then it actually turns green (even though that side's setting is still min/max -- this is expected behavior but just an observation to help with debugging)
previous 2 points are also true when one side is reset to a value for which it is sometimes red/green, it will not turn green at all until other side also has a value (again, even if that side is still min/max)
would be nice if when setting is changed to min/max, some indication is given in textbox to show that the value is not used anymore (maybe don’t clear it completely but change color to grey or something like that?)
EDIT: max/min limits don't work at all unless there is a number in the textbox too
