6 years ago As the concept is the school of everyday life (#4 ), what color represents everyday?
The sky blue is something we think of almost everyday. When it's sunny, we will see it. When it's cloudy, rainy, or snowy, we still imagine the blue sky when we say, "Oh no, it's overcast/raining/snowing."
To find the blue sky color code, start with this image (source):
We then use this webpage to pick the sky blue. This gives me the color code #8FB5E2.
For the a:hover, we need a darker sky blue, because the same color for text looks lighter. Then we use Coolors to find the darker shade, which leads to #7695B9.
For white, pure white is too bright. So we use slightly orangish off-white, which is also picked from the same sky image above by this webpage. The color code is #FDFEF8. It's only slightly orangey, which gives some warmth.
For black, pure black is too much of contrast to white. We follow the MIT Media Lab landing page, which uses rgb(32, 31, 32).
