Keyboard Play/Pause Button Isn't Handled Correctly

What steps will reproduce the problem?
While a song is playing, press a hardware play/pause button.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Playback should stop, instead the pause buttons switches to play and the 
scrubber stops advancing, however, playback continues.

I will check it out and see if I can reproduce it when I get home.

Does it happen on all files and YouTube tracks or is there any occasion where 
it doesn't happen?
