HTTP as a protocol for gFTP is completely broken and cannot be fixed, you need a 160MB web browser for that.
But for FTP Proxy support, it might be feasible, I don't know. I've never used a HTTP proxy for FTP. it's just one of those strange features that Filezlla supports, and that's the only reason to bring it back to gftp. I don't know.
