I think it would be helpful and more clear to make the configuration options positive rather than negative. E.g.:
"Disable in say all", unchecked by default. Change to "Use in say all", checked by default.
"Don't play sounds for roles", unchecked. Change to "Play sounds for roles", checked.
It's a minor UX thing, but the combination of a negative (I.e. "Don't X") and a checkbox means you have to mentally flip the bits each time. "Enable in say all, checked" is a bit easier to parse than "Don't enable in say all, unchecked" even though they mean the same thing.
