The past week we've had two issues in the cafeteria at the upper school which impacted students and parents at different times. We should review this situation and understand whether it's a capacity issue, bandwidth, etc.
The incidents were:
Students updating chromebooks, about 30-50 students at one time. It caused several issues walking them through registration during the PSAT prep lead in. Luckily this didn't happen on test day.
Parents came to the captain's mtg and several were trying to use the iangler app and some downloading the app. It was erroring out and causing issues for our parents - as several complained and asked what was wrong or taking so long.
Maybe we consider a temporary solution during high load times or a more permanent situation, if possible so we don't have to track that usage as much.
