Customizing navigation menus for community sites - User Portal header #1329
loading the customized menu from the backend (which would be the default menu if not customized)
the nav bar may have an additional "back" button at the far left
the logo can be linked to an external site
the top level menu options could be customized, as well as submenu options
the SignIn|Join button could be optional (though we may decide to require it)
Additional styling for the nav bar is an optional bonus but not required initially.
The customization needs to work well for both laptop and mobile platforms.
