Improve the "Our Organizations" section on org pages #138

Hello,

We like the functionality and idea of the "Our Organzations" grid on org pages. However, as much as we want to and are eager to use it more, we have run into a few challenging situations. We want to recommend a few improvements that can benefit us, and hopefully others.

Some of our orgs have a large number of sub-orgs. DPH for example has 7 Bureaus, a number of offices, the Public Health Council, and the Registry of Vital Records and Statistics, just to name a few.

Other organizations, such a BHCSQ, have numerous committees and councils under them.

Due to the large volume of sub-orgs under some organizations, both the programs and us as authors have been hesitant to use the "Our Organizations" grid on some pages, as it gets very large.

We have tried some work-arounds, but they are not ideal:

I have ideas on what can help:

  1. Allow us to have multiple "Our Organization" sections, similar to how we can have multiple sections for board members on the board sub-type. We can sub-divide and categorize the sub-orgs as needed with separate headings and descriptions. For example, with BHCSQ, we could have the first section say "Our Divisions and Offices" and the next heading could be "Our Committees and Councils," for all the committees.
  2. With the proposed addition of multiple sections, we would need to be able to edit the the language of the heading "Our Organizations." This is currently in discussion under ticket #124
  3. We could benefit from a "see all" function. Perhaps only display the first 3-6 orgs in each "Our Organization" section, and have a "see all" to expand it. This could help alleviate the large lists some orgs would generate. As a side note, maybe this could also be addressed with the proposed changes in ticket #72 , but I don't know the full plans for that.
