The ability to indicate what type of document is being linked to. #228

When linking to a PDF, Word document, Excel spreadsheet, etc, can we have the ability to indicate what type of document the user is being redirected to? I know this exists in "Additional Resources" at the bottom of pages, but can it be done within the body copy?

We do this by adding type and filesize after any link to a doc: Such as (PDF, 1 MB) (WORD, 566KB)
