We are unable to use an image previously uploaded to the CMS in most instances. We are able to add existing images to a page when embedding them using the Rich Text Editor. However, for banner images or adding images using the Info Details ADD IMAGE widget we need to upload a new image each time. There have been times when we wanted to use an existing image but were unable to do so thus duplicating images on the CMS.
A recent example of where this feature would have been useful is on the 2 pages for the Somerville I-93 Viaduct Project where we updated the map showing the Route 95 bus stop relocation on both the About the project and the Construction updates pages,
It would be nice to have the ability to use images that have been previously uploaded no matter the template or widget.
